Welcome

We pray our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, will encourage and bless you. We welcome you to consider our unique identity within the Body of Christ. GRACE CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP is an independent congregation in Kansas City, KS that holds to the saving grace and Lordship of Jesus Christ as taught through the Scriptures.
- We are committed to pursuing a life of holiness. Specifically, we desire to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ, to live a separated life, to guard the teachings of Christ and to bring glory to Christ in all things.
- We desire to help families bring up children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord--seeking to establish godly homes conforming to the Biblical principles for marriage and parent-child relationships.
- We seek to be faithful in our love for one another and understand that Biblical love is willing to confront and discipline an erring brother.
- Obedience to Christ's great commission begins within the local community and reaches the entire world. It is every Christian’s responsibility to be light and salt, true ambassadors for Christ.
- Our primary purpose for the Church assembly is to worship and glorify God, and to equip and encourage Believers in true righteousness. We embrace no creed but Christ, no book but the Bible. We do not profess to be the only Christians but Christians only.
We participate in a two-hour traditional worship service which includes singing, biblical preaching, confirming testimonies, the Lord’s Supper and prayer. Our custom is to eat together every Lord’s Day to strengthen friendships and enjoy biblical fellowship. Visitors are invited to be our guests.
We are a family oriented church—it is our desire, as much as possible, to worship and fellowship together. Therefore, we have purposed to not have children’s church or organized youth groups. A nursery is provided. However, we are committed to training little ones to be quiet, developing a love and respect for corporate worship. This is more caught than taught as children experience the dynamics of mutual praise and adoration of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our congregation seeks to be faithful in tithes and offerings, believing that Christ commands us to be good stewards of our personal finances. The Church operates on a debt-free policy. We support missions through 25% of all undesignated offerings.
We believe the scriptures teach that local assemblies should be led by a plurality of elders, therefore, the body at Grace is under such leadership. These men shepherd the flock, encouraging growth and service for the Kingdom of Christ.
